Cocomock House ligger i Takayama, inom 24 km från Takayama station och 26 km från Hida Minzoku Mura museiby, och erbjuder boende med ski-in/ski-out och gratis privat parkering för gäster som anländer... food was the best I’ve had in Japan. not kidding. delicious. staff couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly.

Set in Shirakawa, 150 metres from Shirakawago, GuestHouse Shirakawa-Go INN offers accommodation with a shared lounge and free private parking. I like the setting out of the hostel. It is simple, basic and nice. The hostel has a very nice pine wood smell. It is newly refurbished which can see the original stucture at the roof. Although the location is a distance from Shirakawa-go Station, the Ant Hut provides shuttle service twice a day which are at 8.30am to Station and 5.30pm from station which is ideal for overnight stay. Besides, a hida beef restaurant is nearby where can have dinner there. I found Ant Hut is a great place for young travellers because the washroom is downstairs and rooms are upstairs. Need to access using a steep staircase.

Only a 2-minute walk from JR Takayama Station, K's House Takayama Oasis offers free WiFi throughout the property. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The location of the hostel was only a few minutes walk from the JR Takayama station. We stayed in the Japanese-style room with futon. The futon was very warm for the chilly nights we had during our stay. Use of the shared kitchen and fridge was also kept neat and tidy by other guests as well. The balcony on the top level also has a very nice view of the mountains.

Sakura Guest House is a 10-minute walk from Hida Takayama-mura Folk Village, and offers private and dormitory rooms with free Wi-Fi and shared bathrooms. Nice space outside of the city center. Lots of space to hang out and relax, huge kitchen and outdoor relaxing area, close to bus stop.

Hostel Miyagawa by Murasaki Ryokan ligger i centrala Takayama och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge. Fantastiskt ställe att bo i, otroligt vackert rum inrett i japansk stil. Rent, ingenting saknades. Rekomenderas varmt, vi kommer gärna tillbaka. Special thanks: Daniel, thank you for your help, kindness and extremely service mindset. Many thanks. Vandrarhemmet Natural Onsen Hostel Hidamari no Yu ligger i Takayama och erbjuder rymliga bad med varmt källvatten mot en avgift. The place is really good, and the onsen is very nice, The staff is very nice and helpful, There is not a close bus station but they provide shuttle to takayama station, We really enjoyed our stay!

Tomato Takayama Station ligger i Takayama, 2,1 km från Hida Minzoku Mura museiby, och erbjuder utsikt över staden. Everything was good. Nothing amazing, but no disappointments.
