Baron's Hostel is well set in the centre of Reykjavík, and provides a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Everything was tidy and clean. I loved the kitchen view! The hostel is in a good location. I'd suggest putting curtains in the beds to have more privacy.

Well situated in the Vesturbær district of Reykjavík, Refurinn Reykjavik Guesthouse is set 1.5 km from Hallgrímskirkja Church, 1.6 km from Solfar Sun Voyager and 3.6 km from The Pearl. Very central location, quiet room and very clean. Check in was easy, just using a code for the lockers, where you could take the key for the room. There was also a storage room, where you could leave your luggage, if you arrived early.

Featuring a lounge, bar and a rooftop terrace with a city view, this eco-hostel is just a few steps away from Laugavegur, Reykjavík's main social hub. The staff was great and the vibe was fun. 4th floor was a bar and rooftop overlook of the city. Place was popping for the Eurovision finals. I had no idea Europeans took the so seriously. It was cute to watch

Located 3.5 km from Reykjavik city centre, this eco-certified hostel is beside the geothermally heated Laugardalslaug Swimming Pool. very secure rooms with key access required to all hallways and doors and also had two guest kitchens available: free EV charging in the free car park which we made use of: very friendly and helpful staff even went to the trouble of pointing out when the northern lights were outside.

The modern B14 Hostel is 2.8 km from Laugavegur, Reykjavik's main street and offers free WiFi, parking and a well-equipped communal kitchen. Laugardalur Swimming Pool is 2.3 km away. I booked to stay in b14 hostel but something happened and they moved me to b14 apartments in the center, so my rating is related to b14 apartments. Amazing rooms, amazing view, very quiet and comfortable.

Central Reykjavik is 10 minutes’ walk from this hostel, which is set on the University of Iceland’s campus. It offers a communal kitchen and free WiFi in common areas. It's a fantastic place at a fantastic location, totally recommend! Pillows and beds are comfy, toilet and kitchen are spotless. Common area is very cosy. Great value for money.

Situated in Reykjavík and with Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach reachable within 2 km, SM Hostel features a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Hi i had heard that this hostel had gotten a bad review and i wanted to say that have been here for some time and although you may not see it if you stay only for a short time but this is actually a very friendly place. I understand that the main complaints are about not finding staff when you first come here and that is the only problem i had so i just want to point out for people that usually you are supposed to wait in the bottom floor until they see you on the camera, the staff are sometimes on the second floor. But if you are not seeing any staff you can walk inside two white, and wide doors up to the Mosque, there you can ask for the staff just remember to take your shoes off and be quiet and polite as it is a Mosque. Also i read someone complaining of drug use and that might be a misunderstanding as i was careless and left my medications on the table, so overall this is a very nice place :)
