Located in the heart of the Iveragh Peninsular, the community-run Brú na Dromoda/Dromid Hostel offers free WiFi and free onsite parking. Guests have complimentary use of the onsite sports hall. We stumbled upon this beautiful gem by accident since we were camping and one of our tents broke down. We only stayed for one night but definitely will be back in this beautiful community project. Not to mention our private room was spotless, the shower was the nicest in a long time, the kitchen was well equipped and the kiddos (4&6) loved the playground. With a view upon the mountains and lovely sheep and the most friendly host Maryann we will definitely will be back for a longer stay and find out more about this little gem. (Also very good location if you want to explore the surroundings ring of Kerry.

Sive Budget Accommodation in Cahersiveen provides pleasant accommodation close to the many sights of County Kerry. This busy market town offers boat crossings to the World Heritage Site Skellig Rock. i never leave a review and with all my years of traveling in 37 countries ive never had a hostel so clean.This place is a hotel not hostel in my opinion tgankyou 10/10

Was passing through kenmare on friday 08th of sep 2023, and I said I'd look up accommodation just to see was there something within budget, and was delighted to see Failte Hostel open again as I hadn't being in kenmare for about three years. As I just flow with life now, and the price for three night so reasonable, I decided to book in for three nights. Lovely family run hostel and welcomed with a smile, stayed in sparkling clean 8 bed mixed dorm, spacious shared shower and bathroom facilities with were spotless, with beautiful warm running at all times of the day. Perfect Location just at the top of Hendry Street, If your like me and your looking for somewhere to just lay your head and shower as you go on your adventures around Kerry and West Cork your in an ideal location as a base. Hope this hostel gets all the support it deserves to continue trading in these times we're in, As a hostel is of huge importance in this central location for access to travelling around Kerry & West Cork.
