Free private parking is available on site and there is free WiFi access throughout the property. An absolutely beautiful lodge style hostel! Definitely the most stunning hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Really felt like a much more expensive place to stay than it actually is. The views from the rooms and communal spaces are absolutely amazing, completely surrounded by towering mountains and lush green meadows. Amazing area to be based for many stunning local hikes and other attraction’s I.E Zugspitsze, Partnach Gorge, etc. Felt extremely homely and comfortable, not like the normal industrial hostel vibe, I missed it once I had left!

Rooms at Oberammergau Youth Hostel are simply furnished and feature wooden furniture. Showers and toilets are located in the corridor. The space of Jugendberge was fresh, full of joy, well illuminated, with a kindly staff. Breakfast exceded my expectations and in four minutes I was in center.
