Hostel Kobarid is excellent for someone who likes to meet other people and who is comfortable being with more people in the room. Everything is great, The Staff is great, very kind, and communicative. They are open to giving recommendations on what to visit, where to eat etc. I really recommend this Hostel. And of course, paragliding with the great instructor!

But I’m also old enough that I don’t want to stay in a youth hostel. Fedrig allowed me to enjoy a private bedroom, while still having access to a kitchen, washer, and shared toilets and showers. The female only dorm is spacious and has curtains and high tech lockers, and there is a woman’s only bathroom - I can’t recommend it any more!

Quiet rooms with bunk beds, which offer more privacy when closing the curtain and a good night sleep even if someone turns the light on. Each bed has a power outlet, light and a small locker to store valuables. There's even a terrace outside to hang out. Would recommend and will definitely visit again when in Kobarid!
