You cannot imagine how great this place is... Firstly, the people. Anna and Jaros (and the beautiful Lavinia) are so nice hosts! Not only hosts, human beings. They are creative with the space, a pleasure to interact with and talk to, inspiring for their ethnics, hard work and care. A special mention for the girls, also! The atmosphere is welcoming and everything clean and tidy. The back garden with the terraces makes you to not want to leave the place. But if you do get out, you could enjoy a walk in the nice little town or explore the surrounding mountains. And, of course, the beautiful Soka river.

The hostel has everything you need plus a wonderful garden to relax at after an exhausting day in the Soça valley. I highly recommend the hostel and we will come again.

But I’m also old enough that I don’t want to stay in a youth hostel. Fedrig allowed me to enjoy a private bedroom, while still having access to a kitchen, washer, and shared toilets and showers. The female only dorm is spacious and has curtains and high tech lockers, and there is a woman’s only bathroom - I can’t recommend it any more!

Quiet rooms with bunk beds, which offer more privacy when closing the curtain and a good night sleep even if someone turns the light on. Each bed has a power outlet, light and a small locker to store valuables. There's even a terrace outside to hang out. Would recommend and will definitely visit again when in Kobarid!
