We had a lovely stay at Hostel Mama Minka! It was perfect. Everything was nice and clean. She is the most joyful host!

The hostel is very cosy, with comfortable beds and a great kitchen, pretty spacious, with different stations and fully equipped. There are some supermarkets around to buy some groceries (just beware that all the shops close on Sunday), and it's right next to a good bakery and the bus stop to visit the areas for hiking in the summer or head to other destinations in Slovenia. Staff is great, very kind and helpful, giving all the info on how to explore the area of Bohinj.

Elena was an incredible hostess. From the moment we walked in she treated us like family and served us delicious Slovenian treats. We had a private double room which was equipped with a heater, extra blankets, a sink and mirror, slippers, a wardrobe, super comfortable bed and its own private balcony. Absolutely incredible value for the price. The kitchen is also so well equipped and there is even a dining room that my friend could use to take his buissness calls. Lastly - the internet speed was so fast! Definitely the best place to stay in Bohinj.
