We are a couple from Canada 🇨🇦 and we loved our experience at the Zênit Hostel da Chris! The whole family is super welcoming and the neighborhood is safe to walk even during the evening. It is clean and a 5 minutes walk from the beach. I would absolutely go back!

The people that host you are really friendly! The breakfast was great, with bread, cheese and ham, coffee and even pie! There was filtered water and all. You can use their kitchen to cook, which is great! It is more like a bed and breakfast kind of style, because you use their living room and kitchen.

The staff was extremely helpful, we even had a beach day on our first day with the volunteers and some guests. They gave us tips on places to visit and restaurants. The room had a bathroom and it was cleaned everyday. The beds have curtains, little fans on top of the rooms AC, lights and outlets. It has a huge shared kitchen with all the essentials to cook if wanted. Well situated, we were walking around the whole time and the beach is really close.
