Location excellent with with Zebra, Waterbuck and Warthogs roaming freely. Good birdlife too. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. Great coffee and breakfast. Very good and friendly communication with Karen the manager.

The place was wonderful, looks as good as it is in pictures. The room was big and beautiful. Had a great time really enjoyed everything about this place, no noise and was very peaceful.

Rooms are soooo comfy and tastefully decorated, from the mattress, pillows etc. The shower is awesome 👌 The liquor in the room, gives the extra touch. We slept like babies. The restaurant Zest is a great add to the place. Love the rustic, farm, modern vibe and the menu is also very elaborated. Breakfast a la carte, nonetheless with everything we could ask for (or we could have cakes 😂). My partner and I loved the place.

We arrived at the Ngalali Retreat after a long drive and Xander and staff helped us feel at home immediately. After a hearty lunch Xander introduced us to our first safari experience of the African bush. Xander is a true naturalist who, over the course of the next few days, generously shared his knowledge, passion and experience of the land and wildlife that surrounded us. At the end of each day Xander joined us for exceptional Italian cuisine and helped us to process the days adventures with interesting anecdotes of his own. Our day in the actual Kruger Park paled in comparison. The Ngalali Retreat accommodations were very comfortable with all the comforts of home. What can I say - we slept well each night and arose rested, with fresh anticipation. The whole experience more than exceeded our expectation.

Complete with a garden, The Aloes is situated close to town center of Nelspruit. It is a short drive from Lowveld Day Hospital and Hoërskool Nelspruit. everything was perfect! room was cute and clean with a big bathtub and great shower. the nice lady owner welcome you in the best way, the place is stunning, night is quiet and relaxing. if you are lucky, you’ll meet a very beautiful cat in the garden!
