Wat Pho is 4.4 km from the guest house and Jim Thompson House is 4.5 km away. Wonderful little family guesthouse in a very quiet neighborhood, that I am always coming back to when in Bangkok. This time I was able to leave my luggage to go on a 10 day trip south with no extra charge. Staff is very friendly, the rooms are beautiful decorated and very clean. AC works great and it was great to have a small balcony. 20 min walking distance to Khao San Area and 8 min walk to Thewet Pier where you can catch the ferries to the main seight seeing areas. Lot’s of good street food around.

This is my fourth or fifth stay at Sri Ayutthaya Guesthouse, and it was as wonderful as ever - maybe even better, with the addition of a water kettle in the room. Also, the delightful owner, Jay, advised me that they will refill water bottles, something I wish all guesthouses did. Quiet, clean and comfortable - a real delight and oasis when I’m passing through Bangkok.

The units are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fridge, a kettle, a shower, slippers and a desk. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. At the homestay, all units include a private bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. The host is incredible. She gave us a warm welcome with snacks, water and perfect recommendations. The location is excellent. Outside the noisy city centre but good subway connection. The room was very clean and we enjoyed a lot our stay. Definitely, I recommend this place.

Lovely clean property in a good location. The staff were very accommodating and assisted us with a late check in. Couldn’t recommend this property enough.

The hotel is very very clean and the decor in the lobby and the bedroom is absolutely magnificent. I loved the attention to detail and the overall cozy feel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They knew we had a super early flight to catch and would miss breakfast so they offered us afternoon tea as a replacement. And let me tell you, it was so so delicious! The hotel is located in a quiet part of Bangkok which is a nice change from the hustle and bustle. I will be staying here again next time!

Green Teak House is a hidden gem in bustling Bangkok. It is quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable. There are 3 rooms, soft cotton sheets, cold AC, and an outstanding breakfast including fried rice, stir fried pork, and a huge plate of fruit (we ordered the Thai breakfast). The host will go out of her way to make your stay exceptional, including buying a baby pool for my kids to help us cool off after a day exploring! The location is great being within walking distance to Khoa San, Jay Fai, and the Imperial Palace/Wat Po, while maintaining a quiet neighborhood feel. We highly recommend this place!!

Great location in very authentic area. The place is beautiful - starting from reception and to the room - authentic excellent design. Room very comfortable, clean bedding. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. Only one moment - be prepared that building is wooden, so you you can hear neighbours quite well, be ready for that. I'm really satisfied with this place
