While the room and facilities were just what you can reasonably expect for this price, what really sets Bungkhim Homestay apart is the family who runs it. After many hectic and stressful months, from the moment I arrived I felt some inner peace settle, brought on by the warm welcome, sitting together companionably and our chats. That's not to forget the lovingly prepared and delicious breakfast. When they found out that I am vegan, they immediately made sure I got something appropriate. Even at family dinner both me and the other guest were included as if we had always been a part. When a mud slide cause the road back to Bagdogra to be blocked, their daughter and son in law actually brought me to the airport. 7 hours of driving in one direction, just so I wouldn't miss my flight! I am glad I chose Bungkhim and I hope I can visit them again and introduce them to my wife!

Lali Gurush Homestay was one of the best Holidays I ever had. The host family made us feel that we are at home only and prepared all the cuisines we requested for. Rooms were good and with a view and with all amenities. Mr Zigmee a gem of a person showed us around Oakhrey. His father mother brother ...each and everyone just so genuine and courteous...always helpful. In Okhrey Lali Gurush Homestay is the place to be, frankly...Kudos to the home family.

Very clean and pleasant room of just the right size, with very comfy bed! All's pretty quiet and peaceful, and I appreciated the prompt and friendly service by the host. The availability of breakfast and dinner is convenient and reasonably priced. Dinner is tasty though I wouldn't mind a bigger portion. I'm a cyclist though, so might not be representative for others. All in all, I certainly had a nice stay!

The Sherpa's Abode se encuentra en Gangtok, a 8 min a pie de Mirador Ganesh Tok y a 1,5 km de Monasterio Enchey, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, jardín con terraza y vistas a la ciudad. Everything. Super clean. These guys paid attention to every single detail. From the plumbing to electrical wiring work, they’ve done it right. But that’s not even the best part. It’s the hospitality. Uncle Nima and Aunt made us feel like we visited a relatives home. You’re not gonna get service like this even on a 4 star hotel. I’ve never felt more welcomed at an inn. Uncle Nima even called our room as soon as we got back from MG Marg to check on us. When he told us to call him even from the next town we’re heading to if we needed help, you know he means it. Not to mention, aunty cooks so good. Everything she made was tasty and spot on. An unbelievable experience. I’m so glad I met them both. The next time I come, I’m staying much longer.
