A great location close to all the restaurants and interesting places, a very nice and friendly owner (we had some interesting conversations), a very nice and cute design of the place. Situated within 1.6 km of Mullakkal Rajarajeswari Temple and 4.2 km of Alleppey Lighthouse, Bella Homestay Kerala features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Alleppey. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Large room, no issues with the hot water, quiet in the evenings. Very large breakfasts with continental, Kerala or both style breakfasts if you want it. There is a common balcony overlooking a garden which we used each morning looking for the local birds. Restaurants aren't what we'd consider walking distance, but tuk-tuks are close and cheap. Their recommendations for restaurants were good and safe for the ones we tried. The Shikaras and houseboats are literally around the corner, but we recommend talking to the managers about booking those as they will steer you right. We tried both ways and got far better results from their recommendation.

The Mayflower - Heritage Villa, a property with a garden, is located in Alleppey, 2.7 km from Thumpoly Beach, 1 km from Alleppey Lighthouse, as well as 2.3 km from Mullakkal Rajarajeswari Temple. Property was clean and neat.It is 94 years old heritage property.. Very well maintained.Susan is a perfect host.Very mixing and always ready with answers to your queries.I will recommend this property to Alleppey and wants homestay.

Located 700 metres from Fort Kochi Beach, PRAKRITI HOMESTAY Fortkochi Air Conditioned Rooms offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. The bed was soft and very comfortable! The WiFi worked great! The AC was fantastic in the super hot and humid Kerela weather! Extremely clean! The hostess Lakshmi is very nice and cooks a great breakfast! The location was good and close to the old historic colonial part of Fort Kochi!

Harry John and his wife are the best host you can expect. You will feel home and sad when leaving as they will become your Indian family.

Set in Munnar and only 19 km from Munnar Tea Museum, Maliyeckal Homestay offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very nice property, family was super nice and helpful, our host prepared delicious food. Amazing spice Garden ;)

Featuring an open-air bath, garden and views of lake, WinterHome homestay is located in Munnar, 21 km from Munnar Tea Museum. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The hosts, wonderful people. They treated us like family, they took us to rheir cardamom fields, to the waterfall, they offered us good vibes and help, all the time with love and a smile. Food was fantastic, made from their own culture. The house is new and beautiful, amazing comfortable bed. Located in the mountains, in the silence, next to one of the big watterfalls in the area. Highly recommend it and for sure going back. Thanks family!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Madhav Mansion Beach Resort is set in Varkala. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Beyond amazing in every way - I have travelled the world and stayed at many many places - never have I experienced soooo much help - kindness - generosity - I had an emergency dental issue and the owner not only arranged an appointment on my day of arrival but personally drove me the three times I had to go. Plus to ATM and to a festival on my first night. The breakfast each morning is so generous and different each day morning and served on the upstairs deck with sea views and a lovely breeze. Even a small thing when a button came off and I asked for a sewing kit he took to his wife to do for me. I also used his recommendation for a driver from the airport as o arrived late at night and would again recommend this service / it might cost a little bit more but worth it. I used the same driver to take me to Munroe Island. The room was spacious - comfortable and modern quiet a/c and a fan, plus a kettle. The bathroom had all that was needed with hot water. There is also a kitchen downstairs with large fridge and microwave. The beach is a five minute walk away. I will never forget the hospitality and kindness making my first trip ever to India incredible. Thank you 🙏

Set 500 metres from Varkala Beach, Devi Kripa Residency offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. It is located 500 metres from Odayam Beach and provides a 24-hour front desk. Spacious, very clean, kitchen with botteled water and coocker, few minutes to the famous beach, very good wifi, very VERY friendly host; Sudheer. Highly recommend.

A recently renovated homestay in Munnar, K Mansion offers outdoor fireplace, private parking and sports facilities. Staff were exceptionally helpful and food was good. Great value for money.
