Juma is a really nice place to stay. Very nice apartments (mine had a really nice balcony) with beautiful view on Toba lake. Best of staying at Juma was the owner Pino, who made me feel at home, and made an itenary for me every morning when I rented a scooter and traveled the area.

We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Great place to stay on Samosir Island. Good rooms for decent prices, located at a quiet and nice garden with a view on the lake. Also good working wifi inside the room. In their restaurant, opposite the road, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also rent a scooter which is very usefull at Samosir if you want to make excursions by yourself. And a friendly and helpfull host. What more do you need?

Tuk Tuk'is asuv Vandu's View Guest house & Restaurant pakub istumisnurgaga majutust. Terrassiga majutusasutuses on tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Külalised saavad nautida järvevaadet. Beautiful bungalow & view, very comfortable and relaxing for a few nights. We didn't eat at the restaurant - we discovered Coffee2go and Rosalie's as per a previous review, and didn't want to eat anywhere else! Rented a good scooter here for 100k.

Don't be put off by the location, this place is awesome, and the town has lots of nice places to get coffee and food right on the lake. The owners were amazing, super helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. They took us out on the lake paddleboarding which was amazing. The staff were quiet but lovely and helpful! The spa was also great. I really think this place has so much potential - quiet, serene, and with great motorbiking and lake activities on the doorstep. Hopefully they get lots more tourists!

Very friendly staff, helped us with ongoing transport when we were leaving. Hands down the best shower we’ve had in 9 months of travelling Asia!! Great location and good scooter rental. Highly recommend
