The beds were comfortable, the bathroom had soaps etc.. and there was a balcony which we enjoyed to have our morning tea. There is also a kitchen where we could cook few things. The location is also perfect to visit the temple. Overall, it was comfortable and safe in this homestay. Highly recommend!

The property is situated in a residential area a bit outside of Trivananthapuram but is still well connected to the city. The house is surrounded by a large garden where John, the owner, grows his own fruits and vegetables. I particularly enjoyed the fresh coconuts and the home-made chutney I got for breakfast. The room is beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail, and the whole house is very clean. I felt very comfortable throughout my whole stay. John is an excellent host who truly cares about the wellbeing of his clients. He is super forthcoming with any information you may need and helps where he can. That made me feel completely safe as a female solo traveler during my whole stay at White Butterfly.

I liked that it was a little away from all the busy streets, in a nice and peaceful area with some great views. Senthil and his wife were amazing hosts. So accommodating. He helped organised a driver for me at the start of my trip. The driver, Sunil, was brilliant. Sunil took us to so many good places to eat that we would not have gone to otherwise. Senthil provided great travel advice and went out of his way to help us with anything we needed. The food cooked was delicious. We got everything we could have possibly wanted. The property itself was clean and spacious.

Everything was great, i loved the place from start to end. The hotel manager messaged me instantly after booking, gave me the contact number of the care taker and made sure everything went smootly. What you see in the photos is what you get. This was the most spacious room and washroom i ever had in a hotel. Everything neat and clean, AC and internet worked perfectly. The location is awesome. Walkable distance to M G Road but still a quiete and cute street. Mr. Biju, the caretaker, is a pure soul. So friendly, so respectful and will make sure, to help you with anything. Book the place, it's absolutely worth it.
