A gem who organised an understandable map, the bus schedule and where to catch for every which way, and all the out of the ordinary extras too. I had a big problem with my cell phone comms where she most kindly helped me out.

I went there in November but the memory is still clear now. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel right at home! I really appreciate it! She’s hospitable, friendly and gave us lots of useful information. To be honest, I’d really much like to book this one again for its wonderful service next time. The room is clean and comfortable and the location is right in the center. It's worth and quality far more than the price! Don’t hesitate to reserve. Btw Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !

The location was good, however for someone it might be a little bit far from the Old city center. Within a 25min walk beside beaches, you get to the city center or you can take a ride on the bus which takes 5 minutes. We loved the hospitality of the owner, with coffee capsules, soda and a beer in the fridge.

Our stay at La Casa de Maria was one of our favourites of our trip to Spain and Portugal! Mertxe went above and beyond for us to feel welcomed and comfortable: greeted with a mini bottle of Cava, a mini-fridge full of beverages, tons of free packaged toiletries, towels AND beach towels (a great idea), mini-iron, hair dryer, a fully stocked snack and coffee area in the hallway, freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning, restaurant recommendations posted in the hallway.... amongst many other things. Very cute little balcony that will make you feel like you are in a movie. There is an elevator so no stairs to worry about. I was worried about the shared washroom originally but ... we never ran into our neighbours or even saw them! The washrooms were thoroughly cleaned daily. The location is amazing - close to everything to see.
