Located on a farm in Vallanes, these cottages include a kitchenette and views of the river and mountains. Egilsstadir Airport.Airport is a 20-minute drive away.

Stormur Cottages has wooden interiors and a dining table. The cottages have a tiled bathroom with a shower and free toiletries.

This was probably the nicest spot in out Iceland trip. The huts are super cozy and have everything you need. Clean bathroom and small kitchen with basic equipment for simple meals. It was clean and the beds were very comfy. Really what we needed after a long drive and hike day.

Stora Sandfell Rooms and Cottages, resort village in Stóra-Sandfell

This family-owned, eastern Iceland property is located on Route 95, about 17 km from the town of Egilsstadir. It offers cottage and guest room accommodation with views of Sandfell Mountain.

Stora Sandfell's rooms have tea/coffee facilities, a private bathroom and access to a shared kitchen. The cottages have a kitchenette and BBQ, while the bathroom facilities are either private or shared.

Quiet private and lovely surrounds. Great to be able to cook a meal. Good location.
