El Icelandic Lake House se encuentra en Akranes, en la región de Islandia Occidental, y ofrece balcón y vistas al río. We have been travelling in Iceland for 3 weeks and have stayed in some outstanding (plus a couple of not quite outstanding) accommodations. The Lake House is by far our favourite. The view from the conservatory and the deck were exceptional. We decided to take a ‘rest day’ here to just enjoy the view, the peace and the hot pot. It was great having access to coffee, herbs and spices left by the owners to use in our meal prep. Access was very easy with the lockbox. The heating was already on for us which was greatly appreciated. Btw I loved the swans in the pond. 😂

El Hvammur (Hrakhólar) está situado en Kaldrananes y ofrece jardín, zona de parrilla, terraza, bañera de hidromasaje privada, conexión wifi gratis y vistas al jardín. The best accommodation we had on Iceland. Everything was perfect, very modern cottage! And private hot tub was the best after long days of driving. Totally recommend this place for accommodation 12/10.

El Gíslaholt se encuentra en Borgarnes, a 50 km de Reikiavik, y ofrece jardín y wifi gratis. We loved our stay. What a beautiful little home. So quaint and they really thought of everyting. Perfect for a party of 2. Would work for a small family as well.

El Hítarnesfjörur Holiday Home es una casa situada en Hítarneskot y cuenta con parrilla. También dispone de terraza. Además, hay estacionamiento privado y WiFi gratuitos. Lovely cottage set next to the sea. The house had everything we needed. Warm and comfortable. You can sit by the window and just watch the horses. We visited in winter and it was an excellent place to view the aurora.

El Stora-Vatnshorn se encuentra a 500 metros del histórico Eiríksstaðir y a 17 km de la localidad de Búðardalur. fantastic super clean cabin. great amenities

El Kría Cottages se encuentra en la tranquila localidad de Skeljabrekka, a 10 km del centro de Borgarnes. Bien ubicado, cómodo y a buen precio. La decoración de la casa 1 es genial. Estuvimos dos noches y las dos noches vimos auroras :)

El Erpsstadir Cottage ofrece alojamiento de autoservicio en una granja lechera. Ofrece vistas a Hvammsfjördur y una gran terraza con bañera de hidromasaje al aire libre. The cottage is nice, clean, comfortable, well equipped (including washer), and the hot pool ready for us was a great bonus. It is in a bit remote location if somebody wants to do sightseeing, but it is a great place for a relaxing time. The hosts were very accommodating. They also opened the shop in the morning when we were leaving and we could have great ice cream, cheese.
