By far the most beautiful place I stayed at in Iceland. 20 minutes away from Husavik gives it an advantage to be in a quiet area and drive a bit if you need food or grocery. Instruction was sent beforehand with clear steps and info. Cabin was very clean, nice touches, equipped very well, comfortable and overall very beautiful. The outside is even better. Hot tub (uses geothermal water) with the green and mountain view just was magnificent. Definitely going to here again in my next visit.

Iris our host was superb - so welcoming, kind and generous. She had lived in New Zealand, our home country so we had fabulous conversations. Loved the countryside location of this family owned horse farm. The modern design of the fully equipped kitchen was a delight to use. Only 10 minutes drive from Saudarkrokur where there is a fabulous bakery and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here.

Íslandsbærinn /Old Farm býður upp á garðútsýni og gistirými með garði og verönd, í um 44 km fjarlægð frá Goðafossi. Heitur pottur er í boði fyrir gesti. Fallegt hús og rúmgott og mjög vel búið. Fór mjög vel um okkur.

Iðavellir Guesthouse er staðsett á Skagaströnd á Norðurlandi og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Það er garður við orlofshúsið. Every single thing! We chose this place for the night before heading back to Reykjavik and it was the best decision ever! The house is big and spacious. Kitchen and common area is wide enough for everyone. Have all the kitchenware you need. The house even comes with washing machine and dryer. Rooms and bed are comfy. The host is very responsive and provided us the detailed instruction of how to check in much in advance. We find no problem to find the place. It is a really small, but peaceful and quiet town. But we enjoy our time here very much.

Laxárdalur Cabin er staðsett við sveitabæinn Árhólar, í 11 km fjarlægð frá þjóðvegi 1. Það býður upp á bústaði með eldhúsi, borðkrók og sérbaðherbergi. the cabins are in a beautiful river valley (we had not realized when booking that it’s still a bit of a drive from Myvatn, but it was worth it) and they’re very nicely equipped with everything you need, including a little kitchen (which is great, since the location is a bit remote).

Ytri Vík er staðsett í Hauganes, 29 km frá Menningarhúsinu Hofi og býður upp á fjallaútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. This was our second time here - my wife loved it so much that we had to come back and coming all the way to Northern Iceland pretty much decided the rest of our 1-week itinerary. The view is breathtaking, the chalets have all the amenities and comfort you'd wish for (private hot tub !!). Food options were a bit limited at this time of year (the restaurant we went to in Hauganes last year is closed for the winter) but we had planned on using the kitchen and be independent on the food front. This place is a great starting point for exploring the fjörd coast and the peninsula to the north.

I really liked the location of the apartment It is on the hills facing the river and Akueyri city Since it is on the lake you appreciate the quietness and enjoy the nature Regard the apartment it’s well designed and spacious and their item from kitchen and bathrooms is neat and modern with high end technology I really like it And outdoor garden or Terrance is big and only for you where you can enjoy the view and maybe even seeing northern lights in winter. The floor of apartment is kinda warm which is great in the winter to warm you during cold weather The place is great for family They have two bedrooms with twin beds and provided child bed with some dolls and upstairs small gathering place where there is couch , modern TV provide YouTube and Netflix etc and even Wii video game !! , seems the owner don’t want you to leave the apartment, in good way ! In the bathroom they have washing machine and store for everything you need from towels , paper towels scissors hair dryer etc . I will do my best to come in winter

Mörk Superior Cottages er á vegi 711 við Miðfjörð, 1 km frá Hvammstanga og Selasetri Íslands. Það býður upp á sumarbústaði með sérverönd, sjávarútsýni og ókeypis WiFi. The views from this location were amazing! The bed was by far the best in the trip and the shower was nice :)
