Denver Cottage, a property with a garden, is set in Monyash, 15 km from Chatsworth House, 35 km from Alton Towers, as well as 39 km from FlyDSA Arena. Beautiful village setting. The cottage was very pretty and comfortable, close to lots of walks and places to explore. We would love to stay again.

Situated in Wirksworth, in a historic building, 24 km from Chatsworth House, The Tenth House, Grade II Listed Georgian Town House, Wirksworth, Derbyshire, Peak District Cottage, Sleeps 4 is a holiday... The Tenth House exceeded all expectations. It's so beautifully and thoughfully laid out with the space used in very inventive ways. We loved our bedroom and our 3 year old adored 'his' room with not only bunkbeds but lots of toys and books for him. He also fell in love with 'Alexa' and DJ'd his heart out. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, bathroom was beautiful and the little living room on the first floor a lovely place to cosy up in the evening. Location is also great, right in the middle of this gorgeous little town and there are plenty of things to do in the vicinity. One thing we noticed is that as we were visiting in June, a lot of the kids attractions weren't open on the weekdays yet, so take that into account. Kelly and Martin were excellent hosts and, although not present, were attentive and responsive throughout our stay, responding to and solving little problems and questions. They provided amazing information ahead of time, including local sights, eateries and other logistics, but also very comprehensive information on the house. We really appreciated little touches like how to get a pint from next door while still staying in the little courtyard in range of the baby monitor! It makes such a difference to get advice from families with small kids who get it. I would say the house is perfect for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, max. The stairs are very steep, so make sure children are confident with stairs.

Located in Holmfirth, Crystal Cottage - 5 min walk from Holmfirth Town Centre provides city views and free WiFi, 22 km from Victoria Theatre and 32 km from Clayton Hall Museum. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, the host was fabulous and very welcoming, they went above and beyond our expectations to accomodate me and my bridesmaids the night before my wedding!

Situated in Cressbrook in the Derbyshire region, The Lodge features a patio and river views. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the holiday home free of charge. Perfect hideaway location, beautiful views, amazing hosts that were incredibly helpful.

Barlow Country Club - Mill Farm Cottages, a property with a garden, is located in Dronfield, 15 km from Chatsworth House, 18 km from FlyDSA Arena, as well as 36 km from Buxton Opera House. Beautifully furnished. Large comfortable beds, good for tall adults. All 3 bedrooms were good and no-one would feel they were short-changed. Dog walking from the cottage - on-lead in the fishing club area but access to footpaths outside this area where off-lead is acceptable Countryside code permitting. Good pubs nearby but also good equipment and storage in kitchen to make own meals (large fridge freezer, range cooker, good knives.)

Knockerdown Cottages is set in Ashbourne and features a heated pool and garden views. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. Everything! So quaint, child friendly, comfortable, spacious, safe

Set in Saddleworth, in a historic building, 15 km from Clayton Hall Museum, The Cottage, Grotton Hall, Lydgate, Saddleworth is a holiday home with a garden and barbecue facilities. The location was great because it is next to Grotton Hall and is located through some gates behind a wall, away from the main road. It's also close to most amenities in Lydgate and everything such as pubs and supermarkets are easy to get to. Great for a hiking weekend too as the North Peak District isn't far away.

One Church Street is situated in Tansley near Matlock. Chatsworth House and The Peak District National Park are close to the house. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a terrace. The property was beautiful and very comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do and see.

Situated in Matlock and only 14 km from Chatsworth House, Poppy Cottage features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. Beautiful, immaculate cottage in a beautiful location with the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on, lovely town great holiday

Sett Cottage is situated in Hayfield, 17 km from Buxton Opera House, and features a patio, garden, and free WiFi. We loved this charming property. It was cheery and beautiful. Loved the decor and country feel. It was perfect little retreat for our family of four.
