Hotel Gostilna Vovko is family run guest house and boasts a long tradition. The restaurant is spread in several smaller dining areas and decorated in a rustic, yet elegant style, with heavy use of local wood. Guests can taste traditional dishes of Dolenjska Region and other Slovenian delicacies. A breakfast including regional products is served daily. Great location, with rooms located above the restaurant. Breakfast had many offerings and was beautifully layed out. Host was very kind and very knowledgeable about the local area as well as the entire country. We enjoyed our conversations with him every morning.
