Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Breakfast was lovely with fresh juice, pastries and fruit. We were also sent away with extra slices of cake and fruit for our journey! We also had dinner there and nothing was too much. The food was excellent but was clearly prepared just for us and made it even more special with all the beams and vineyard features such as barrels in the reception and dining room. The bedroom was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfy and bathroom with a bath was excellent. The room was very large and had lots of features to make us feel like we were in the vineyard. The best bit was when we arrived and we were greeted by the family with glasses of port from their vineyard for free before sitting by a toasty fire to warm up - perfect welcome!!

This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

What an amazing place and warm, wonderful hosts Paolo and Carla make you feel like old friends. Beware, booking.com's directions take you to the wrong house. Follow Google maps to Quinta da Menina Guest house instead and you won't get lost. The place seems brand new but charming. It's spotless and gorgeous. The pool is crystal clear and breakfast is fantastic. Don't make the mistake we made and only book one night. You are going to want to stay at this beautiful oasis and explore the wine area for, at least, a few days. I would have stayed forever if I could.

Salgueiral Guest House Douro se află la aproximativ 19 minute de mers pe jos de Muzeul Douro și la 16 km de Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios și pune la dispoziție WiFi gratuit și o terasă. The host was welcoming, friendly, informative and very generous. The accommodation was large, well equipped and had many bonuses. The area was quiet and safe.

Great place to stay when visiting the Douro Valley. Well located at the beginning of a great drive into the valley. Casa 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro is brand new and the facilities are excellent. Also the hosts were very nice and most helpful. I have no hesitation recommending Casa 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro for your stay when visiting the Douro Valley. Also they have parking right next door within the building which is most helpful.

Zimão Garden House se află în Vila Real, la aproximativ 30 km de Natur Waterpark și la 31 km de Golf Course Vidago Palace. Quiet place with great confort in a fully renovated house. Small details in the decoration made it unique and unforgettable, the host was very helpful and her two cats really made the end of my trip worthwhile.

We can't even imagine the great experience we had at this place. We arrive after several days at the Douro valley, and by far - this place was the best we chose and stayed in. From the great hospitality of the host, to the facilities (Jacuzzi, Balcony, Breakfast and what not). Do yourself a favour and go there, believe us.

Extremely hospitable host generously sharing own locally made wine. Spectacular views. Spotless pool. Kind generous hostess provided amazing breakfast for reasonable price. Outstanding location

A lovely stay with hosts that treat you like family. The room is spotless clean, and you get to use the dining and living rooms, it’s spacious and nice. But mostly it’s the chance to meet the nicest hosts and feel the real Portugal. We highly recommend it, and hope to come again.

We loved this place - the views, the history. the spaciousness of our room, the beautiful antiques throughout, and especially our times with Carlos and Paula. We loved the town - so charming and picturesque. This was a highlight of our whole trip.
