Amaru Colonial is a colonial inn in the artistic SanBlas district, 2 blocks from San Blas square. The charming central courtyard features soft lighting and a colorful flower garden. The views are incredible for starters and the comfort of the place is great. Everything is highlighted by the friendly and always there to help staff (literally 24/7). I booked some tours via them and everything was done properly and timely.

Hosteria de Anita is a lively family-run guest house in the artistic San Blass District, central Cuzco. Excellent little hotel. Very clean, beautiful, central, and peaceful. Very good breakfast.

Offering inner courtyard views, Casa Agustina is an accommodation set in Cusco, less than 1 km from Cusco Main Square and a 14-minute walk from Religious Art Museum. The breakfast was super good and the terrace has amazing view and super cozy, the room is very clean and spacious, the most important is the family who organizes the place is lovely and kind🫶🏽highly recommended🙂

Situated conveniently in the Cusco City Centre district of Cusco, Casa Durand is set 450mt from Religious Art Museum, 1.1 km from Santa Catalina Convent and 1.3 km from Holy Family Church. We stayed a second time here after the inca trail. Again the stay was superb. Everything perfect, really enjoyed our stay!

Luna House Cusco features accommodation situated 600 metres from the centre of Cusco and provides a garden and a terrace. I think this is by far the most warm and hospitable place I’ve stayed at. The level of attention and care from the owners is amazing. My friend and I stayed here for a week and it felt like we were at our home away from home. Anything you need or any questions you have, it’s just a quick WhatsApp message away. From the delicious breakfast each day to the hot water bottles for the chilly nights, all the amenities were great! They also have a very cute dog that likes to hangout with the guests! I got sick for the latter part of my trip and they were so kind to make me a special hot drink a few times. Muchas gracias por todo!

Offering a shared lounge and mountain view, Casa Salkantay Cusco is set in Cusco, 3.1 km from Wanchaq Train station and less than 1 km from San Pedro Train Station. Spacious room with comfortable big bed! Good breakfast. Zuzan and her family are so nice! It felt like a cozy homestay!

Parwa Guest House, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Ollantaytambo, 19 km from Main Square, 19 km from Sir Torrechayoc Church, as well as 19 km from Saint Peter Church. Really nice room, with a view towards the ruins.

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Kamma Guest House offers accommodation in Ollantaytambo, 42 km from Cusco. Everything about this hotel was amazing. Super cool location in the original Inca old city, right across the way from the entrance to Pinkuylluna ruins hike. Sound of flowing water from Inca canal at night. Comfy, modern room with view of ruins from my balcony and view of more ruins from the awesome rooftop patio. Huge delicious breakfast. But the best part was the particularly helpful hosts, two wonderful local women. They really went out of their way to provide me with additional information and take care of all my needs.

Featuring free breakfast, Casa de La Chola offers accommodations in Ollantaytambo. Each room here is equipped with heating and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Extras include bed linen. Casa de La Chola is an exceptional stay in the Sacred Valley. It’s out of town but you can use a collectivo or private driver to easily explore the region. The place is well set out to relax, with amazing views from the garden and comfortable facilities. Tony is a great host - very responsive and accommodating - but a particularly great chef. We rated our dinners here as some of the best food on our South American trip.
