The hotel owner, Luz, and her mom, Juanita, were so personable and warm. They really helped me and my friend order food, drive us, and also made me tea and soup when I was feeling sick! It felt like I was being taken care of like family and I am so grateful to have met them.

Situated less than 1 km from Principal Beach, Casa Sixta offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. It was an oasis. We loved the place and how Magnolia (the owner) was taking care of it with love. She was there every day, watering the plants, cleaning and it was amazing how committed she was to the place. We had one of the new rooms and it was the best and most comfortable accommodation we’ve had in Mexico. Like the others said, the shower was amazing, the bed super comfortable and we simply felt great there. You can also cook in there, the kitchen is in the other part of the garden and was fully equipped. We could also get cold water at the reception anytime we wanted so there was no need to buy the bottled one. Thank you so much Magnolia, you truly were the best host and we wish to come back again to Casa Sixta! ❤️

Villa Bonobo features an outdoor swimming pool, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Puerto Escondido. There is a communal oven and coffee machine. Everything is amazing; the guests, the hosts, breakfasts :-). They make sure everyone feel ok while staying here and recommend several activities per day on their cool whatsapp group that you join right after check-in; bbqs, live music, dinner... Don't miss out their drinks' nights at their rooftop (so cool) where you can get to know other guests and the hosts.

Hostal Central Oaxaca features accommodation within 1.1 km of the centre of Oaxaca City, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with a microwave, a fridge and kitchenware. The amaxing ambiance, patio, dining room and tv room. Many places to hang out and meet other people. The staff is so friendly, the rooms are cleaned every day, the beds made up. I slept in 3 rooms, love the rooms with the normal beds ans lots of space. Although I slept very well in the bunkbed dorm too. It is a quiet hostel, not to big. It felt to me like a family as everyone shows up in the dining room, having breakfast together. And the quality of the food is amazing, fresh prepared, every day different and always this finishing touch like being in a restaurant. A very good start of the day this fulfilling breakfast. The owners are so nice too. They cooked for us on mole night, pizza night. I felt so taken cared for. I might be spoiled now.....

Samora Luxury Resort has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Santa María Colotepec. incredible swimming pool right on the beach. Beautiful huge airy rooms (if you go for the suites). Lovely common areas. By far the best food we had in Mexico on our 10 day trip

Boasting a patio with garden views, an outdoor swimming pool and an open-air bath, La Playita Beach House can be found in Puerto Escondido, close to Zicatela Beach and 1.4 km from Marinero Beach. everything about this property was exceptional. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and kind. You can keep to yourself or mingle with others in the common area. It is less than 5 minutes walk to the beach. I loved the rustic feel, the beautiful set up and the amazing staff.

Offering city views, Posada Nautica is an accommodation situated in Mazunte, 300 metres from Mazunte Beach and 600 metres from Agustinillo Beach. Amazing location just off the main road. Beautiful views. There's plenty of cooking equipment. The room is spacious enough for two people. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Room is clean and tidy and well maintained.

Set in Mazunte, a few steps from Mazunte Beach, Posada Ziga Playa offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This accommodation is simply marvellous. I couldn't get enough of the view over the beach and the bay. The rooms are great, clean, very large, great big beds and fantastic balconies. But above all, the staff make the stay simply wonderful. They respond immediately to every request, rarely experienced so much care, especially from the new employee who looks after the guests on the beach. And above all, they immediately accommodated my request for the period of my stay without any complications and regardless of the booking change options. An absolute recommendation for a dream holiday.
