The staff is very kind and helpful. The restaurant is lovely with its view (on the landscape and the cows!), and the food (mostly homemade with farm products) was delicious! I highly recommend.

Very spacious, well-equipped. One of the best accomodations we had on our Trip. And we even got to see the northern lights, since there's not much around 🙂

The cottage was spotless, had a very well-stocked kitchen, and a beautiful sitting area to see the mountains while eating breakfast. It's on a beautiful farm with horses, sheep, ducks, and a very cute dog! This is a must stay!!!

Frostastaðir guesthouse is situated 12 km from Varmahlid by road 76, and features barbecue facilities, garden and terrace. Free WiFi is included. The lodging was both large and very comfortable. Having a full kitchen which was nicely stocked was a plus. The living room with large windows had a beautiful view. The entire place was nicely decorated and very welcoming. It was perfect for four adults.

Solvanes Farmholidays is offering accommodation in Varmahlid. The property features mountain and river views. Incredibly kind owners, nice rooms. We were able to get an excellent dinner after a long day of driving. The breakfast was also top notch. If you want a more personal experience, this is the place. My daughter loved it because she could feed the lambs of the farm.

They even got ready hot tub for us. They gave us a homemade jam for our breakfast 🧇. It was relaxing to stay at this guesthouse. Highly recommend it and we hope will come back in one day

The interior of the house was an unexpected, and very cool, surprise. The host even brought us coffee as she couldn't remember if it had been stocked or not. Though we didn't use it, the house had both a washer and dryer for our use.
