Location was very nice and the views of snow covered mountains was breathtaking and it was just 2 mins walk from main road, rooms were neat and clean and caretaker was humble and disciplined and breakfast and dinner provided by caretaker was so yummy and its gives authentic local taste. There was a stream near to this property and you can hear stream sound which feels so relaxing. Bhagirathi river is just a 5-7 mins walk from this property and anyone can go there through apple orchards and a suspension bridge and enjoy the views. There is also a very ancient old temple "Kalp Kedar" located just 5 mins walk from this property where you can sit and medicate and feel spritual vibes.

Crescent Moon Homestay, que cuenta con terraza, se encuentra en la región de Uttarakhand, Rishikesh, a 35 km de Templo de Mansa Devi y a 3 min a pie de Puente colgante Laxman Jhula. It was the perfect stay in Rishikesh! Clean, spacious room with everything you need, amazing view from the window to the mountains. Even the bathroom was very clean Best value for price! Note: It is a few streets from the main road of Lakshman Jhula, so it is far enough to have peaceful atmosphere but in the same time it is just 5 minutes walk to the restaurants and cafes. I felt totally safe in that area even 9 pm alone going home. I could hang my wet clothes on the rooftop, which has a breathtaking wiev. The wifi was strong enough for me to give a 2,5 hours lecture to Europe on Zoom (only 10 minutes there was some weakness) I will defenetely stay here if I come to Rishikesh again..

I stayed 4 nights in October, the location is perfect for trekking and tasting the local food. Rooms are confortable and the host is sandy and makes you feel at home, apart from helping you in anything and can give you information about the valley, etc.

Initially when I saw the reviews I was sceptical that a home stay could be so good and booked it with great hesitation! During our stay, the hospitality and warmth that we received was simply bowled us over! Every small need of ours was catered to in super quick time, every request was delivered with a smile. The Magician behind this is Ms Sonya who makes all this happen with her band of loyal, ever-smiling employees. We were given so much choice for food selection and we savored some Bengali style dishes (very new for a Keralite). She is so kind hearted and accommodating that she offered to take Mom to a Dr in her own vehicle when she felt unwell. We were admiring her Mango tree for a bit and lo behold... Cut mangoes in individual plates arrive for all of us! I know this is an exceedingly long review by usual standards, but I want you to know why I have rated this flawless stay 10/10! I almost forgot to mention the beautiful garden and lovely pack of domesticated dogs there. They were the topping on top of my super sweet sundae. I conclude as no one has the patience to read so much these days. Sonya ma'am thank you for the most memorable stay of our lives and we look forward to staying with you in Oct-Nov again this year.

Mehra Cottage se encuentra en Almora y dispone de jardín, salón de uso común y wifi gratis. Cosy place and very affordable. Mehra uncle is very welcoming and feels like home. We just have to wait for ISBT to be built then accessibility would be better.
