I write this review from a specific perspective — I had arrived in Vrindavan with a group but then stayed a few days on my own. I have been to Vrindavan previously but I was a little nervous about staying solo as a western woman… Vraja can present some challenges for us in regards to attracting attention, even if you are an experienced devotee. I usually stay at MVT so I can walk directly to ISKCON by myself, but it was full and I am SO GLAD I found Shree Krishna Bhakti Ashram instead! It perfectly threads the needle between having comfortable rooms and being peaceful and still in the center of Vrindavan, with the real spirit of Vrindavan and not like some of the newer developments. “Ashram” conjures up thoughts of austerities — and on the same trip I stayed alone in a Math that I couldn’t handle alone… but the rooms here are incredibly comfortable and provide things that seem luxurious in an ashram, especially for the price. I had a king-sized bed with comfortable mattresses, multiple pillows, and duvets — no fuzzy brown blankets … A wardrobe, a table and chairs for sitting, a KETTLE and tea/coffee cups with some hot drink packets and even digestive biscuits!!! Also an amazing ceiling fan, real towels in the washroom, a shower head providing hot water with water pressure instead of a bucket… etc. There’s even a TV with cable, I believe, but I did not get a chance to use it. there’s also an enclosed colonial-style veranda looking out onto a lawn which is a peaceful place to enjoy your beverage. The ashram features a small temple in the back which seems to offer small aartis daily, but this really seemed like more of a guest house than a residential ashram. anyways here is why you should choose this place as a solo woman — there is always security and the staff are AMAZING and super helpful! I booked specifically based on other Booking reviews that expressed this.

Anukampa Paying Guest House is located in Agra, 1.7 km from Taj Mahal, and provides free WiFi. １月の寒い時期に滞在しましたが、シャワーはしっかりと熱いお湯が出て、部屋にはコンパクトなヒーターもあり快適に過ごせました。タージマハルから近く観光にも便利です。オーナーは到着以前からWhatsAppで質問をするとすぐに返信をくれました。急な車の手配もしていただき、トラブルがあった際もすぐに対応してくれました。またジャイプルからデリーへの車も依頼したのですが、他のどこよりも安く、ドライバーさんも良い方で非常に助かりました。さらに朝食を当日に外出先からWhatsAppで依頼した際、こちらの不手際で間違えてランチメニューから注文してしまったのですが、快く対応いただき有り難かったです。円からルピーへの両替も、レートの良いデリーの旅行代理店と全く同じ率でした。オーナーは間違いなく、インドで出会った最も誠実な1人です。そのお父様もとてもチャーミングな方で、いろいろお気遣いをいただきました。またアグラに行った時には絶対に泊まりたいです！　大推薦！ We stayed during the coldest part of January, but the shower was hot enough, and the room had a compact heater to make our stay comfortable. It is close to the Taj Mahal and convenient for sightseeing. The owner replied immediately to our questions via WhatsApp even before our arrival. He also arranged a car for us on short notice and responded promptly to any problems we had. We also requested a car from Jaipur to Delhi, and it was cheaper than anywhere else, and the driver was very good. The exchange rate from yen to rupees was exactly the same as at a travel agency in Delhi, which has a good exchange rate. The owner is definitely one of the most honest people I have met in India. His father is also a very charming man and took care of us in many ways. I would definitely stay there again when I visit Agra! Highly recommended!

Centrally located just a 10-minute drive to Varanasi Junction Railway Station and the city centre, Azure Family Paying Guest House offers free Wi-Fi access at all areas and houses a restaurant. The location is very near to Assi Ghat. The room was neat and clean especially the washroom. The host is an incredible person. Will surely recommend.
