I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Escape Bajo; it offers excellent value. The view from our room was breathtaking. The staff were extremely helpful, and the food was delicious, complete with a welcome drink and a delightful breakfast. The coffee was exceptional—the best I've ever tasted, likely made from special beans. We intended to book another stay after our boat trip, but it was fully booked.

Fantastica esperienza nel villaggio di Komodo (aperta quest'anno, prima era impossibile alloggiare sull'isola). Una volta prenotato l'alloggio ho preso accordi su wa con Jeki per il trasporto e i tour. Possibile raggiungerla con traghetto pubblico (4,5h) o farsi venire a prendere in barca privata (2,5h). Si può personalizzare completamente il tour (sarete voi, Jeki e il barcaiolo), Jeki fa di tutto per accontentare qualunque richiesta. Draghi visti più volte nei dintorni del villaggio (almeno 20...), occhio che questi sono svegli e dopo qualche secondo ti vengono incontro (non per accoglierti), non sono addormentati come al parco (io non ci sono neanche andato). Snorkeling stupendo sempre in solitaria (viste mante, tartarughe, delfini...). Si alloggia a casa in famiglia e si mangia bene (indonesiano classico). Ho scommesso con Jeki che fra 10-15 anni il villaggio sarà molto diverso da ora, andateci subito per un esperienza wild che non dimenticherete!

The owner helped me a lot by arranging the boat tour and drive to Bajawa. I was also able to rent his scooter. There is the cutest dog and chickens walking around. Just lovely !

Besides that he arranges transport to Kelimutu, but also he arranged that the public bus to Bajawa kept 4 seats free for us! That was great🤩

Staff really helpful - organised trip to Kelimutu within a few seconds, and sorted a bus to the next destination, making phone calls when it was late etc. to make sure we got on. Fab breakfast with fresh fruit and a choice of eggs or (excellent) banana pancake. Shower was properly hot which was amazing.
