We got there late and they offered to ask there neighbors to cook us dinner. We had a late flight on our day of departure and Rio the son drove us around for a hike and a few hours at the beach before he dropped us off at the airport. Such great people, I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Mentos is a one of a kind owner, you have to meet him. Good breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and complimentary coffee through the day. Located right next to a big market and a few minutes from the harbour.

The property is in a small fishermen village and provides for all the needs that make a comfortable stay. Paul, the owner, is very attentive and dedicated to ensure guests are having an enjoyable stay. We arrived late and he still managed to find us a captain for the boat ride the next morning.

ORA KOMODO HOME STAY er staðsett í Komodo, 1,9 km frá Pink Beach og býður upp á grillaðstöðu, sameiginlega setustofu og sjávarútsýni. Wow! I wish I could give this more stars!! We had a fantastic time with Jackie and his family staying on the Komodo Island 🤩 We would really recommend this for anyone wanting to see the island at a more leisurely pace. The room was lovely - there was a fan, a comfy bed and it was right on the water front of the village. Jackie and his wife were wonderful hosts and within the price you get 3 delicious meals a day! Jackie also organised for us to take a local boat with a local captain to see Manta Point/Pandar/pink beach - he's a local ranger so he took us around Komodo Nation Park (and even his own village) where we saw loads of Komodo dragons. We loved his stories and he spoke excellent English! It was the best experience we had in Indonesia so far ❤️ Some tips that we learnt: There is a public boat but it only leaves on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. It's from the fish market on Labuan Badjo (if you go there the locals are really helpful). We paid 100k each. It leaves at 11am but we arrived at 9am - there are no seats so be ready to sit on the floor. It's a busy boat so we were squished like sardines. The boat takes around 4 hours and is loud but there was a toilet onboard. The return boat leaves on Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday back to Labuan Badjo. If this isn't something you're interested in, speak to Jackie as he'll arrange collection and drop off with you for a reasonable price (and it can work around your schedule). It's totally worth staying on the island - the views are amazing! Best sunset we've seen! You also see waaayy more dragons near the village than at the National Park (and there aren't many people) The boat Jackie organised for us was 2 million for the whole day! The captain knew exactly where to find the Manta rays and even came swimming with us. It was lovely to see the sights on our times so would highly recommend this :) we did the national park on the same day to only purchase the ticket once!

RIUNG LALONG TERONG Guest House er staðsett í Riung á East Nusa Tenggara-svæðinu og er með garð. Þessi gististaður við ströndina er með verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. It was all very clean, new, airconditioning! and the owners are so sweet!! Also, good breakfast with banana pancake and fruit. The owner helped me a lot by arranging the boat tour and drive to Bajawa. I was also able to rent his scooter. There is the cutest dog and chickens walking around. Just lovely !

Riung Tiga Empat Tujuh Guesthouse er staðsett í Riung. Þetta gistiheimili býður upp á ókeypis einkabílastæði og sólarhringsmóttöku. Gististaðurinn státar af fjölskylduherbergi og verönd. Lovely homestay we will definitely come back to beautiful Riung. Highlt recommend organising a boat tour with them as captain Alex is also great!

FARILA LODGE er staðsett í Ende. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Gistirýmið býður upp á flugrútu og bílaleiguþjónustu. Þetta gistihús er ofnæmisprófað og reyklaust. The room is really clean (even by Western standards), the shower has hot water (if you use it sensibly there is plenty for everyone) and the breakfast is good. The manager speaks English and is a great local guide. Peter and his lovely family will make you feel at home. Very convenient location as a base for Kelimutu park.

SHILA GUEST HOUSE er staðsett í Kelimutu og býður upp á gistirými með upphitaðri sundlaug, svölum og fjallaútsýni. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Perfect location, comfortable beds and good shower, The room has all you need. The breakfast was really nice with pancakes and fruits. And last but not least, Yohannes and his wife are super friendly! They want you to feel at home. Besides that he arranges transport to Kelimutu, but also he arranged that the public bus to Bajawa kept 4 seats free for us! That was great🤩

ANDY'S LODGE KELIMUTU er staðsett í Kelimutu á East Nusa Tenggara-svæðinu og er með garð. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Herbergin eru með svalir með fjallaútsýni. Staff really helpful - organised trip to Kelimutu within a few seconds, and sorted a bus to the next destination, making phone calls when it was late etc. to make sure we got on. Fab breakfast with fresh fruit and a choice of eggs or (excellent) banana pancake. Shower was properly hot which was amazing.
