Affordable and clean. Easy to check in. Host was very kind and helpful. It is a very small room and very close to the airport and nightlife so a bit loud but I had earplugs so it didn’t bother me. Clean drinking water was provided and the shower was hot.

Featuring a shared lounge and views of inner courtyard, Hostal Amaya is a recently renovated guest house located in Guatemala, 300 metres from National Palace Guatemala. Never stayed in such a beautiful hostel. 10/10 location, super clean, extremely friendly staff, and overall a great experience. I usually never give feedback on hostels or hotels, but for this place I had to make an exception. I would definitely come back.
