Everyone going to Durban, AND who likes beautiful old style accommodations with plenty of charm should spend their time in this beautiful place, full of atmosphere, old antics, nice rooms, all different, (plenty pillows ;o) ), good breakfast, helpful personal, and even a little bottle sherry in the lounge for a little drink in the evening. The photos on the page don´t lie, it is a small gem, and a place like this would cost much more in Britain. It is situated away from the beach, and the characterless concrete hotels there, up behind the big football stadium . An Uber will take you up there for 40-50 Rand from the beach. Well worth it.

Absolutely loved it there, i think it will be my home when im in Durban. The staff were friendly, breakfast very nice and the location is nice and peaceful also convinient as it close to the city and other shopping centers.

Ina and her team run an exceptional guesthouse. Visited for a few nights and felt very well supported and comfortable. The value of such high standard accommodation was amazing - other reviews mentioned this but only believed it when I visited. Fresh coffee in the morning, the self-service but good quality breakfast in the in-room kitchenette. Ina herself was kind & hospitable. Even after many years of meeting guests.

Everything! beautiful new boutique accommodation, great taste and lots of light and space! fabulous terrace overlooking the ocean, while rooms also have big balconies overlooking the ocean! spotless clean and personal attention at breakfast! owner very kind and extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities! we stayed one extra night

The location super close to the centre but in a quiet road. The hospitality and friendly staff, the good atmosphere made us feel at home, good value for money. Rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed.
