Everything was perfect! The hotel is in the very center of town, it has beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking to church, old city roofs. Interior looks like you are in the palace, luxury experience! The service is excellent, I loved the staff! Breakfast is fantastic!

Located in a quiet rural area (within a cork tree plantation) yet only a few minutes drive from Evora, one of the most attractive cities in Portugal. This is one of the few places we have found to stay where you can relax totally knowing that if you have any queries or requests the hosts Monique and Wim, who speak excellent English and are a mine of local information, will be at your service. The rooms are large and well equiped and the site has an excellent swimming pool, covered car parking and lovely gardens where you are free to roam at will. You need to like animals as you will soon be approached by three large, but very friendly dogs. We were lucky to have the excellent and entertaining company of fellow guests from Portugal and New Zealand.

Victor, the owner of the accommodation, makes you feel at home. He is attentive to your needs. He explained in detail which places to visit and which restaurants to go to. The house is very beautiful, with many old details that make it truly special. It has a beautiful garden patio with swimming pool and fruit trees. It is a haven of peace and tranquility in the middle of the city. Breakfast is served in a room in the house that looks like a museum. Invites you to eat slowly and speak softly. Really, highly recommended.

An unexpected bonus was Chef Riccardo and the incredible traditional Portuguese dinners he cooked in the wood fired oven. Riccardo was charming and the food wonderful.

Peacock house was in the very center of the old town with 2 min walk to the bone chapel. Very roomy and clean. Very welcoming lady and a good breakfast, specially the gluten free bread and yogurt!We got excellent guiding to a free parking just 5 min away.

Very comfy, clean and tidy room. Working A/C, hot shower. Common areas are one of the best we’ve seen. Very well equiped kitchen. Nespresso and filter coffee machine you can use. There are even 2 washing machines and 2 drying machines at guests use. Would have stayed 1 month if we could!
