This is a beautiful property with a romantic history that Andres, the current owner and grandson of one of only 2 families who have owned this property will share with you. Big, comfortable rooms, gorgeous garden to hang out in and lovely pool (that's warm!). I highly recommend! And, the breakfast is AMAZING--not one of these factory pastry kind of buffets, but pastries that are fresh and local.

Excellent and comfortable hostel. Very friendly and nice staff. Despite the fact that many people work in the hostel, there is a homely atmosphere and love in every detail. I think that I will come back to this hostel!

I think all the bad reviews are from before renovations. Everything is new in this hotel and the beds are very comfy. The rooms and bathrooms are very modern and we had a lovely balcony as well. If you’re a pilgrim this place is a blessing. There’s only a few rooms and in the hallway there’s a coffee machine (amazing for early morning departures before anything opens), as well as a “first aid” kit that contains everything for blisters and other pilgrim injuries. the attention to details is beyond words. And the owner replied to all my messages instantly and also let us check in much, much earlier, as well as helped us get a water taxi for the next day. She is amazing and her place is perfect and luxurious at a great price. I definitely recommend

The location is perfect! It’s the only hotel at the top of the hill. Walking distance to the castro, museum, chapel, and lookouts. We were able to see the sunrise and sunset. Rosa did everything she could to help us. We will definitely come back!

It felt good to have my own space for a night as I travel the coast along Portugal and Spain on my way to Santiago de Compostela. Francisco, the host was just wonderful

Beautifully decorated, all the amenities you might need. The backyard was stunning, and the hosts were very welcoming and nearby in case of any questions we might have had! Short walk to the beach and to town. would absolutely stay again if I’m ever in the area!
