We had a a wonderful stay at the guesthouse. Bjorn was excellent in communication before our trip and I was able to book a ATV tour with him. The guesthouse has nice decorations and a big living room and well equipped kitchen. We are a family of five and three got to spend the night at their own private bedrooms and my daughter and myself share a bedroom. It felt so better having the house with only ourselves. The ATV tour was super fun. Bjorn was nice enough to even allow my 13.5 years old son to try for a few minutes. He liked it so much that he begged us to go back to do the ATV again. Actually we all liked the ATV tour so much that we could do it again if time allowed. This is definitely one of the highlights for our 15 days trip in Iceland ( the other two highlights are glacier hiking and seeing volcano eruption up close).

Everything! It was magical to stay in these little house/chalet. With my partner, we didn't book properly for what we wanted, but the host re-accommodated us in no time and we are super thankful for it as it was an unbelievable night and place to see northern lights. Definitely a cute romantic getaway as well. Everything was really modern in the little house we've had and it is fully equipped to cook and such. Quiet place and really comfortable.

The location was exactly what we wanted. It was quiet, private, and the first night we stepped out the front door and watched the Northern Lights which was awesome! It also put us half way between 2 locations we wanted to see so everything was perfect. We were a 3 generation family of 5 guests and it felt like a second home. The owners were warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I strongly recommend Eaglerock Guesthouse.

Clean and comfortable. Lots of separate huts with 3-4 rooms in means its a quite location. Good breakfast included with booking. Restaurant on site for dinner but also options close by in the town Friendly staff, helpful when needed. Simple kettle in each hut with tea and coffee. Clean bathrooms with powerful hot showers. Rooms were nice and warm. Lovely waterfall right behind guesthouse with some nice walks. Also great location to explore south coast

the hostel is located in a magnificent place with a small lake in front of the facility, it is secluded and quiet. The common area is very large and cozy, as are the kitchens, which are also well stocked with dishes and accessories.

The hostel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing as was the location. It is built "in the middle of nowhere" which gives you privacy, peace and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable, the common areas (kitchen and bathrooms) tidy and well maintained. The communication and organisation is also worth mentioning - it is a self check-in hostel (you receive an email with instructions a few days before your stay), which provides flexibility and peace of mind (no rush within the check-in times).

Lovely, quiet cabin. Great location just off the ring road. The nearby gorge is superb. And make sure you eat here at least once and have the truly fabulous lamb

love the clean , modern apartment. love the surroundings, peaceful and quiet , nice lake view behind the apartment. The location does not show up in the map but the host provided detailed instruction on how to locate the place. The drive in is pretty long , 20-25 min, just drive up the end & it will appear.

The most spotlessly clean hostel/guest house I have ever experienced. Room was good. Large dining area and separate kitchens for preparing food were excellent. The location is isolated, which is a good thing. We managed to see the Northern Lights.
