This hostel is made in the building of a former old school. That makes it look like a cool and creative maze with beautiful staircase, spacious social area and cozy rooms. Staff is amazing and fun, caring and friendly people who offered free handmade cake to all the guests. It was a delight to stay in Paradise Cave. The kitchen is big and has everything you need to cook decent meals, and also there is a nice waterfall view from the window. Shared bathroom is spacious and clean. Room was comfy and had neat decorations. The spirit of the place is all friendly and youthful, was very refreshing mentally :)

Our room was located in an external cabin with shared bathroom facilities with one other room. This was ideal for our needs. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Guesthouse Husid is located a short drive on a paved road from the Ring Road, and is only 30 mins from Seljalandfoss which is the area's main attraction. We would also recommend visiting Gluggafoss which is only 10 mins away, and was one of our waterfall highlights! The owners were very responsive to our emails as we were delayed in arriving, and when we met in the morning we received a warm welcome. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice and set us up for the day.

The guesthouse is a very comfortable place to spend a night or even couple of them during warmer days as it's surrounded by nature, close to the road and nice views. The owners are extremely nice people and we enjoyed our one night there a lot! Kitchen was full of cereals, teas, different types of coffees there was even a delicious homemade cake.
