Great location to see the northern lights, sadly we didn’t see them but the group the night before and after did since is secluded spot. Lovely waffles for breakfast, clean room with everything you need. We got dinner from a food truck in Hella but also had great kitchen facilities if you want to cook your own.

Johnson Kanada

This was one of our favourite accommodations during our entire trip. The rooms are lit up and some decor made it feel really homie and cozy. We were also able to see a glimpse of the Northern lights from the parking lot. Great place to stay if you're a tourist looking for a place while travelling East.

We had a lovely stay at Selalækur! Spacious and comfortable accommodation with a nice view. Many thanks to our friendly and helpful hosts! The location was perfect as a base for day trips to Thorsmörk and Vestmannaeyjar.

We loved the facilities provided and the well equipped kitchen. Felt like a cozy home rather than a hotel. Very quiet and set in a farmland with a wonderful view. Highly recommend for a pit stop during the ring road trip. Ms Svetlana made us feel very welcome, and her pet dog, Stella is very friendly!

yes! everything was the exact same as the picture, it’s clean and comfortable in all ways! we didn’t get the chance to use the hot tub cause it’s to cold during our stay, but we met the aurora here!

We had 6 accomodations throughout our Iceland trip and this was by far the best one! very comfortable house, had everything you would need for a great stay. lots of shared space, good rooms, good water pressure. The host is such an amazingly warm person, we truly enjoyed the conversation.

The heating is amazing. Everything is clean and I liked the room, although it was a bit small. The kitchen has everything needed and I love the coffee machine. A lot of space in the kitchen and the living room, also for bigger groups. The communication with the host was easy, quick, and very friendly. The instructions how to get there are very clear and it was fun to be a bit off the road :)

Everything ..friendly owners and staff cozy after a long drive this hit the spot plenty of room and a lovely couch to relax on comfortable beds and breakfast was great ..was just Like the picture ( plus we saw the lights )
