I arrived late at night and was greeted with two very helpful workers. They were very polite. The room was lovely and a pleasant surprise with all the helpful touches but unexpected for such a bargain price in a great location. It was quiet also. It was across the road from my minivan transfer.

The property is a beautiful family home with guest rooms upstairs that overlook nearby rice paddies. The room was clean, the AC and wifi worked well and the family was very nice. The bed was comfortable, there was a private bathroom in the room, and there is a nice sitting area right outside. The surrounding area has plenty of places to eat, local markets and everything else you need. It has more of a local vibe which I liked. They also have 3 very cute puppies on the property!

Beautiful garden, spacious room and very friendly and helpful owners. I enjoyed my stay at Katang-Katang guest house immensely and would stay there again if I make it back towards Denpasar. The family running the guest house was very nice and I learned a lot about Balinese culture and traditions by talking to them. I also appreciated that the guest house is in a quiet neighborhood and on day trips to other parts of Bali Denpasar traffic can easily be avoided.

The owner is very welcoming kind, and accommodating she assist us for everything that we need. They always prepared excellent breakfast feels like home.worth the price

What l liked about the property was the caretaker he was lovely and the shower. The Indomart was a two minute walk and there was a few warongs in the area. Most of the time l was the only guest in the building. Ollie the owners dog was there for a couple of days and he was so cute (see photo). The upstairs bedrooms were very large however l had to stay downstairs due to my partner being in a wheelchair. When booking l would get the upstairs rooms. The balcony upstairs was great for a quiet beer. There is a great Tattoo shop two doors down. There was no other western tourists around in this area so be prepared to learn some of the language or use Google translate.

The host and his family are very attentive. Simple accommodation, but served our purpose. Tea and coffee facility anytime. The hot shower is super hot and instantly heating the second it is turned on, unlike other accommodations we have ever been. So, turn on with care.

The staff was very polite and always available to take care of my needs. Very good value for money if you are traveling on a budget.

environment is charming with the fountain in the lobby, rooms are really clean and confortable, the owner and staff are sweet and amazing people
