The hostess was very pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed the room decor and double bay windows which offered wonderful views. After parking our car upon arrival, we were able to walk to all of our destinations. Thank you!

Lovely location in the countryside, the room was super clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the pub and it was perfect. Stuff very friendly, Claire served us delicious breakfast and she was just lovely!

Helpful and friendly host and hostess, gave us warm welcome on our arrival. A handbook offers information about St Ives, such as map, taxi company phone number, handpicked restaurant list, etc. Surprisingly nice room, clean and cosy, giving relaxing holiday vibes. Our room fronted the seaside, the view was so beautiful through the windows. Nice breakfast in beautiful dinning room, with multiple food options, vegetarian included, of course.

Joby, was the one I connected with at this property. Weeks before my stay, he listed out a bunch of great food places I could try. I thought it was a nice touch and very thoughtful to reach out. My plane arrived late, so I ended up checking in later than expected. However he made that super easy. I even received a drink to settle in, which was delicious and very well put together. I also received complimentary croissants for breakfast, with a selection of beverages in and above the mini fridge. Overall it was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it to friends and family.

We enjoyed staying at Thurlestone House very much indeed for the 10 nights we were there. John and Linda could not have made us more welcome and were a fountain of knowledge both on the local area and wider Cornwall so were always willing to help with travel advice and where to go and what to see. The room was very comfortable, quiet and a nice size for the two of us. Breakfasts were very good indeed with a wide choice and always served with a smile. We would have no hesitation in staying at Thurlestone House again when next in the St Ives area.
