Appartement sous les remparts er nýuppgerð íbúð í Carcassonne og í innan við 49 km fjarlægð frá Termes Chateau. This little apartment is in a perfect location. It's on a side street that's a cul de sac. When you come out the door, if you turn right, you walk into the old castle full of lovely little street with cafes, restaurants, and shops. If you turn left, there is a beautiful walk along a canal/river bank. Everything is within walking distance. I took 2 taxis while I was here. 1 from train station to apartment for Eur11 and 1 to the airport for Eur22.00. Both fares were about right for distance travelled. The apartment was easy to access, key left in a lock box, there are a few steps (approx 8 to 10)inside the door leading up to the apartment door, but they are easy to manage. The furniture is very comfortable, especially the sofa and armchair.. The shower is excellent. Good supply strength and plenty of hot water on demand. The mattress and pillows were tops for comfort. The old bridge is a 4 minute walk. I wasn't mad about the new yown or the square. There wasn't much to do or see in the area. The canal and old city were the best spots. Really enjoyed the boat trip on the canal. Worth every penny. Didn't need to rent a bike. Maybe next time. The two little cakes on arrival were perfect touch. Also the additional supplies, rice, pasta, salt, spices, oil, tea and coffee. Thank you. I highly recommend and would stay here again without hesitation.

Very comfortable accommodation. Room with terrace right by the pool. Gorgeous gardens. Super friendly team working there. Gorgeous location. Easy parking. Overall just lovely.

Domaine de la Castagnère er gistiheimili í Castetnau-Camblong, í sögulegri byggingu, 47 km frá Zénith-Pau. Það er með garð og bar. The house was set in beautiful countryside & our room was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed Marcs cooking & all the homemade foods from his garden. We felt we were amongst friends sitting around the table chatting until late.

Inside and out so beautiful. Definitely a perfect couples get away. We love the inside decor and the bed was so comfortable. Even though it was cold and raining we still enjoyed the hot tub outside on the deck. If we lived in France we would be back!!

Fresh fruits, cheese and pastry for breakfast. Nice rooms and terrases. We have also enjoyed the pool and outside common kitchen. Maybe during summer location would be more crowded, but it’s really great villa which I would recommend and visit again.

It is perfect location for those who want a quiet and relaxing holiday and with lots of activities to do around. Our hosts Val and Alexander have been absaloutly amazing, the Chalet was clean and comfortable. The veiw was spectacular with a beautiful night veiw. The water park was good and the price was sustainable. We would deffinetly recommend this beautiful place for family's with children.
