Summerplace Game Reserve is one of South Africa’s premier mountain biking destinations. Escape to the bush and experience life outdoors. I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

This place is amazing. I was not sure what to expect when I booked and it exceeded all my expectations. The house is beautiful. The lady receiving us was very friendly. We felt like home, in the evening they made a fire for us. It was lovely to have a glass of wine there.

Boschoek Farm homstead has a 4-bedroom farmhouse and a 1 bedroom flat located within 19 km of Tzaneen. Enjoy staying on a working avocado and macadamia nut farm. The peacefulness of the surrounding, size of the house, the host always willing to help. It was just an excellent place to stay!

Set on a 270 hectare farm with 1 Trout dam and 1 Bass/Carp dam, Woolly Bugger Farm is located in the idyllic Tonteldoos Valley. A superb experience. We WILL be back and also stay longer :-)

All the details are being taken care of. It's a pity we only stayed for one night this time but we will surely return to enjoy the garden and play with the dogs.

It was a home-away-from-home - even the resident dogs adopted us and followed our children everywhere they went on the farm.
