You can notice the personal touch of the owner (beautiful furniture made by the owner) which makes your stay much nicer. Renata is a very friendly person. She gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home. We stayed only for one night but hope to come back another time for longer. I highly recommend this place!

We were traveling with extended family and occupied both apartments situated on the ground floor (from the hill side) with its own antechamber. Both apartments have a balcony with stunning views of the village and the Alps. The Egger family lives upstairs and is very friendly and welcoming (they also include a free bottle of milk each morning). Both apartments were clean and warm and furnished with high quality wooden furniture. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bathrooms were impeccable. The whole house is built in traditional style but has been recently renovated (with central heating). The house is very spacious and so are the apartments - much bigger than they appear on the photos. The location is very good - relatively close to the Merano2000 and would recommend for skiing season HQ. Unfortunately, at the time of our visit, there was no snow, but if there was, snow sleds for kids were available in the yard as well as the very inviting slopes all around the house. There is also a grill and a large table and because the surroundings are also great for hiking, I'm sure the Obkirchhof property would meet the needs of summer visitors as well.
