Bólstaðarhlíð - Cottage (studio) has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Bólstaðarhlíð. It is a very convenient location right near the ring road. We stayed in the apartment (not the cottage). The apartment was very spacious and very well equipped. It had a variety of types of silverware including the type you use for special occasions. It was very rainy when we went there and the host was gracious enough to give us a drying rack for our clothes. The views outside were fabulous. The property was very clean. The check-in process was convenient and the instructions provided was very good with details about what to do in that area.

Guesthouse Brúnahlíð, a property with a terrace, is situated in Aðaldalur, 33 km from Godafoss Waterfall, 35 km from Myvatn Nature Baths, as well as 23 km from Husavik Golf Club. The location for this little house is great, you are involved by the nature around you and no city noises. The communication with the hosts was easy and quick. The house has enough amenities for a short stay and the hosts left two fresh eggs on the fridge for us to use, which was a lovely gesture. Definitely would repeat it. :)

Friendly & warm welcome, clean and quite room, amazing view of Northern light, room had exceeded my expectation and clean, the kitchenette was fully stock.

Warm welcome, the host was very kind and welcoming and paid attention to details. The room was spacious, clean and well equiped. The bed was large confy. The window view was twards the farm and we were able to see the horses in the morning. The house is far away from the main road and it is perfectly positioned to see the aurora borealis if weather conditions allow it. Breakfast was delicious, with a lot a variation and some local products from the farm. We also took the lunch pack which was delicious and came in handy.

Set in the Skagafjördur region, this family-run farmhouse is 20 minutes’ drive from Saudárkrókur. It offers a terrace and free parking. The location, the set-up of the room, the kindness of the staff. The breakfast was incredible. Probably the best place we stayed in Iceland.

Nice and cosy room, with access to a well-equipped kitchen and to a large bathroom with a couple of showers, toilets and sinks. The staff is very friendly and the area around the guesthouse is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, with local products from the farm, such as smoked trout, homemade jam and bread. They also have an ice cream shop. The guesthouse is located very close to the main attractions in the Myvatn area.
