Just wow. I could write a whole book on why this is the MUST visit place of Slovenia. The nature, the food, the hosts, the food, the NATURE! Everything is really great here. Everything you need to really relax is here! Really take a look to the wooden art gallery! Some really authentic pieces! We will come back for sure! Thank you thank you thank you!!

It’s newly renovated, so we had the opportunity to enjoy it before anybody. Also it’s super family friendly accommodation, there were lots of toys for kids since the host has three children. It spacious, clean and cosy. Location is ideal if you want a bit of privacy but also super short drive to Rogla. The host is very kind, generous and helpful. Highly recommend tourist farm Gričnik.

Very friendly and welcoming, great hospitality, fluent English, Slovenian, and Hungarian speaker host, clean rooms. Kids loved the bunk beds. Environment is gorgeous around the farm: pine forest, hills, trails, and lots of deer, sheep, hens, peacocks, a vizsla, and a cat. We went for skiing at Rogla about 20 mins drive away. Show chains are a must if the roads are snowy as it’s quite a scenic drive to the farm. Breakfast has typical Slovenian treats including deer salami, bread, cottage cheese, kefir, prosciutto, butter, veggies, tea, coffee, apple juice, etc., many of them homemade. You probably are not going here for tech, so shouldn’t care much that 4G coverage is spotty (at least for my carrier). However, there is WiFi in the rooms and TV in shared areas. We loved that this was a different experience to typical apartment stays and we definitely plan to visit again.
