I had walked on the Via di Francesco for several weeks when I stopped for an overnight here. It was one of my favorite places on the trail. The people could not have been nicer. The apartment was huge, but warm and comfortable. We brought food to cook, but the hostess asked us what else we needed and provided olive oil, salt, and vinegar. Breakfast was wonderful, brought to the apartment on a huge tray by the hostess who offered refills on the coffee. And the whole deal comes with alpacas roaming the property. I could have stayed for a week.

This farm is a hidden gem: beautiful location with the view on the hills surrounded by nature, big swimming pool and farm animals for the kids, relaxing atmosphere and amazing hosts Franco and Antonella! What else can one wish for? Kids are happy and we are very grateful for a warm welcome. Franco and Antonella have helped us with anything we needed. We have also enjoyed several dinners with their beautiful family. We have stayed for 9 days and would love to come again as this was one of the best relaxing holidays we have had with the kids.

Valeria brought delicious breakfasts to our room to prepare. We were delayed and didn’t arrive until very late at night. She very graciously stayed up for us. During the week we had a flat tire. She helped us with the tow truck and taxi into town. She was our angel. We would have been lost without her. We loved the donkeys, roosters, Sweet cats dogs. Wonderful. And Gubbio is a wonderful town to explore. So beautiful. Also a good grocery store nearby. If you like peace and quiet away from city traffic this is your place.

Beautiful estate close to Gubbio but totally private with a fabulous villa and gardens. Our accommodation was in a separate building and the bedroom was large with all the amenities you would expect. Breakfast was a continental style and ample. The owner and staff were friendly and looked after us well.
