Farmhouse lodge was fantastic. The room was gorgeous with loads of space. The communal lounge and kitchen were also excellent with everything we could need. We also had an incredible view of the northern lights!

We were very happy with our stay at Farmhouse Lodge. Beautiful room, great location, good breakfast. We were traveling with our dog and they provided us with a room closest to the door for the best accessibility and made us feel very welcome, which is not always the case when traveling with pets in Iceland.

This might be the best hostel I've ever stayed at! The home is lovely and is an old farmhouse with lots of history. The place is so clean and in walking distance of everything in Vik. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

The neighbor's dogs warmly, welcomed us! You can see the ocean from the breakfast room and from the deck on the farmhouse where we stayed. Cozy, clean, comfortable room. There were plenty of large spaces to hang out: large comfy sofa with a TV and a couple of Papasan chairs and large tables and chairs where you could sit and play games. There was a whole other building with another room that had ping pong table, and the shared kitchen, but it was very cold out there. We had an incredible northern lights viewing here!

I appreciated how warm and cosy this farmhouse style guesthouse is when I arrived in the middle of a rain storm! The room was nice with a sink, desk and kettle and the bed was really soft with a reading light. The breakfast room had a beautiful view (when the rain stopped). I purchased Breakfast which included coffee, toast, a selection of jams/ marmalade, fruit, cheese and ham and sweet waffles freshly made by the host

The guesthouse is very authentic Icelandic. Ragga welcomed us warmly and explained us more about the surroundings. Einar, her husband and his daughter showed us the barn with lots of sheeps, ponys, cats, dogs and rabbits. An experience I will never forget. You won‘t get any closer to Icelandic farmers I guess. Thank you so much, Einar and Ragga for the short but best time in Vik.
