Set in the Skagafjördur region, this family-run farmhouse is 20 minutes’ drive from Saudárkrókur. It offers a terrace and free parking.

Tea/coffee facilities and a seating area are standard in Hofsstadir Farmhouse’s rooms. All have a private bathroom, desk and wooden floors.

The location, the set-up of the room, the kindness of the staff. The breakfast was incredible. Probably the best place we stayed in Iceland.

    Food in the restaurant was superb. We stayed in the Farmhouse room 3 and gge room was big and very comfortable. It's not in the main complex, just 5 minutes drive up ghe Road, but very good all the same.

    Just simply amazing - it was tranquil and could only hear the sounds of nature. Room was spacious, bathroom was modern and also had underfloor heating! The room had large sized TV with Netflix etc so a bonus. The breakfast was delicious - not your average and boring hotel breakfasts, such as Potato Salad, Fresh Bread, jams handmade on their farm. Really exceptional stay and can't wait to go back!

    Spectacular views of the mountains, fjord, distant islands, and local farms. Restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast - enjoyed some products from the farm.
