This hotel was exactly what we needed on our trip. We were not happy with the price and quality of the hotels on the mount but still wanted to be as close as possible. The shuttle picked up just in front of the Mecure so we were only minutes away and yet also had a large modern room to return to after all of the walking and stairs. The breakfast was excellent and dinner at La Presale was delicious and effecient. I would recommend a stay here.

The apartment is beautifully decorated with high quality amenities, such as Rituals products. Coffee and fres madeleines were waiting for us. Easy check-in. Location is perfect, just behind the cathedral and 5 minutes walk from Place de la Republic were the C6 buses from/to the airport stop. Walking distance to most of Rennes main attractions and wonderful restaurants and bars. Will stay here again when I return to Rennes.

We felt very welcome at this hotel. Getting to the room was a journey in itself, not in terms of distance but the access along the ramparts offered extensive views of the bay and the amazing sunset. We had a triple room and it was one of the largest we had during our short 5 day stay in France. Water pressure was fantastic too! Do note the hotel's advice on luggage and parking information.
