O The Fontenay, Designhotel des Jahres 2023 und 2024 é um hotel de 5 estrelas localizado na margem do Lago Alster, em Hamburgo, a uma curta caminhada da famosa área comercial de Jungfernstieg. It gives me great pleasure to give feedback on The Fontenay. We have stayed in numerous 5 Star hotels around the world over the last many years and we have never experienced anything like The Fontenay. It is very luxurious, elegantly decorated and has a charming and very welcoming atmosphere with very attentive and professional staff. The location is fantastic right at the beautiful Alster lake. In short it was a magical experience. We shall definitely come back. Thank you all at The Fontenay for making our stay with a truly memorable experience.

Das kleine Grindel tem um jardim, terraço, um restaurante e bar em Hamburgo. I didn’t eat breakfast but had coffee at the cafe which was excellent.

Located in Hamburg, The hotel offers free Wi-Fi connection and paid on-site parking. It's a 15-minute walk from the city centre. The exhibition grounds are 700 metres away. Everything was excellent! Location, room, building in vintage Dutch style... Stuff is very kind, view is perfect, you have everything you need. Main station is few minutes by walk, Alster lake too, place and street are quiet... Only best reviews! I recommend this hotel to everybody.

The room was perfect: very comfortable, neat and clean. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel occupies a mid-19th century Hanseatic building, in the popular district of Harvestehude and lies close to the Alster lake, Dammtor railway station and the exhibition grounds. The location in the middle of district with charming old German villas and not far away from city centre. Very calm and relaxing. The hotel is super nice and design is great. Natural materials and everything was so thoughtful. The personal was great. The bed was really comfortable and room was clean
