The Fontenay, Designhotel des Jahres 2023 und 2024 is a 5-star hotel situated on the shore of the Alster Lake in Hamburg, within walking distance of the famous shopping area at Jungfernstieg. It gives me great pleasure to give feedback on The Fontenay. We have stayed in numerous 5 Star hotels around the world over the last many years and we have never experienced anything like The Fontenay. It is very luxurious, elegantly decorated and has a charming and very welcoming atmosphere with very attentive and professional staff. The location is fantastic right at the beautiful Alster lake. In short it was a magical experience. We shall definitely come back. Thank you all at The Fontenay for making our stay with a truly memorable experience.

Located in Hamburg, The hotel offers free Wi-Fi connection and paid on-site parking. It's a 15-minute walk from the city centre. The exhibition grounds are 700 metres away. Everything was excellent! Location, room, building in vintage Dutch style... Stuff is very kind, view is perfect, you have everything you need. Main station is few minutes by walk, Alster lake too, place and street are quiet... Only best reviews! I recommend this hotel to everybody.

מלון וורבאך (Hotel Vorbach) בניהול משפחתי ממוקם בדיוק בלב המבורג, ברחוב צדדי ושקט ברובע הרבסטהודה (Harvestehude) היפה. בואו לשהות בחדרים המפוארים והמרווחים בבניין היפהפה בסגנון וילה מהמאה ה-19. Everything was excellent. Breakfast was so good. Staff was very friendly and kind. Hotel is Altbau i love it

The hotel exceeded my expectations. It is very conveniently located near the S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations. The room was perfect: very comfortable, neat and clean. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This 5-star hotel in Hamburg's Rotherbaum district offers free high-speed WiFi, 3 Restaurants, 2 bars, 1 Cafe and a luxurious spa with indoor swimming pool. Lovely pool and spa area. Comfy rooms. Conveniently located next to train station. Lovely breakfast. Mice selection of restaurants and cafes within the hotel.

This hotel occupies a mid-19th century Hanseatic building, in the popular district of Harvestehude and lies close to the Alster lake, Dammtor railway station and the exhibition grounds. The location in the middle of district with charming old German villas and not far away from city centre. Very calm and relaxing. The hotel is super nice and design is great. Natural materials and everything was so thoughtful. The personal was great. The bed was really comfortable and room was clean

A very nice hotel, with a perfect location when traveling to Hamburg University Law Faculty, very clean, with very pleasant and helpful staff, and excellent value for money. Recommended for someone who needs to spend a night or two in Hamburg

מלון אמסטרדם (Hotel Amsterdam) האלגנטי ממוקם ברובע רוטרבאום (Rotherbaum) השקט של המבורג (Hamburg), במרחק של כ-5 דקות הליכה ממרכז הקונגרסים של המבורג ותחנת הרכבת דמטור (Dammtor). Very nice hotel, decorated in an old fashion way, but very clean and confortable.
