I love the location so much. it is tucked away nicely in the Hutong but also close enough to the bustling street! it was really dark and quiet at night which allowed for good rest! the hotel breakfast was beyond excellent! the whole experience was one of the best I have had - after staying at many places!

The Chinese hospitality was one of the best parts of our trip.

If you are visiting Beijing this hotel is a great location in the middle of a busy street with lots of food options and the staff can speak English which is a huge plus! The room is very spacious and clean, we choose one with a window and had an amazing stay here for a very good price. For all foreigners that are traveling to Beijing, here are some tips: Buy your internet sim card at the airport, you cant buy them downtown!! If you would like to see the forbitten city you need to buy tickets days in advance (4/5 is the earliest as its sold out all the time). Your train tickets you need to book in advance and you need your passport to buy a ticket. If you arrive at the station it can take hours before you can go on a train. If you visit the great wall at Badaling, we advise: do not go between 10 am and 2 pm, we arrived and had to stand in line for 2 hour when we got down at 3 pm there was no one there and you could go up right away, we wish we knew. (we are no hikers and only wanted to visit the wall for 2 hours to see it however we went down right away as it was over crowded, we only stayed 30 min)

The hotel was super nice and would meet European Requirements of travellers. It was spacious, modern and overall clean. The location was quite good as you could walk to Confucius and lama temple. Also there are many shops and restaurants around. The staff was sooo friendly! They helped us out so many times with difficulties that we faced and they were so warm and friendly. They also brought two bottles of water every day.

Rong Hotel - Beijing Nanluoguxiang Branch er staðsett í miðbæ Peking, 1,9 km frá Yonghegong-hofinu. Meðal aðstöðu á gististaðnum er herbergisþjónusta og sólarhringsmóttaka, auk ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna.... Nice small hutong hotel. Close to bell &drum tower, houhai area. Subway not to far away. Free filter coffee and tea

Mao'er Hutong B&B is located in Beijing's historic hutong. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. the bed was a traditional Chinese wooden carved bed - very big and more comfortable than it looked. Shower room and bathroom were not modern but were very adequate and the provision of sliders for the shower and slippers for the room were very appreciated. It would be good if they could provide some tea / coffee for the room - provided a kettle and mugs but no tea/coffee. It wasn't a big deal though.

The East Hotel-Mjög nálægt Drum Tower, The Lama-hofinu, Houhai Bar Street og Forboðnu borginni. The location was perfect and the staff helpful.
