It was perfect as it is close to my Daughter's apartment, which is too small for me to stay in when I visit. It was fine that there were no staff on hand - all self serve. And the information about being in the entertainment district sure was true. There was a loud event right next door during the day when I arrived, and it was going to be loud at night. but then the party was done by the time I went to bed. I would make an effort to be on the other side of the building on my next building. Otherwise, super comfortable, clean and well set up suite.

Less than 10 minutes' walk from the Citadel National Historic Site, this Halifax hotel offers free WiFi. First-rate services and comfortable guestrooms are included. I stayed at both the Lord Nelson and Marriott Downtown hotels during my stay in Halifax. My room at the Lord Nelson was cheaper and yet 10x better than my room at the Marriott. It was a little busy when I checked-in but the staff in front assisted me as to where I can temporarily park. Great location just in front of the Halifax Public Gardens.

Best of all were the people at the front desk. They were so helpful and did it cheerfully. Breakfast was good, and the location was great.
